Views in SharePoint 2013 libraries and lists

In this blog you will see about views in SharePoint 2013 libraries and lists.

In SharePoint 2013 you can easily create or modify views for lists and libraries by simple filtering or sorting in the current view. I have created a team site which has Documents library. I have uploaded few documents in the document library. This document library has “All Documents” as default view. I have sorted the documents based on Name in descending order. Now you can find an option called “SAVE THIS VIEW” next to the search button as shown in the following figure

Click on SAVE THIS VIEW.

You can click on Save button to save the changes to the current view or you can change the name of the view so that a new view will be created as shown in the following figure
