Missing Start Button in Windows 8

Alright, I have installed Windows 8 on 3 different laptops for my testers now. This team are not technical developers but they are more like office users. 
After few days of using Windows 8, they ""hate" it. The love the interface and UI in the metro side of it but in desktop side, they hate it. They hate it they do not have the Start button and they do not have the menu to browse their applications.
And they makes sense. Actually, two of they want to put Windows 7 back.
So, I agree with them. Microsoft made a big mistake by not having the Start button. If they want people to adapt Windows 8, they will need to put the Start button back otherwise they will have hard time.
