Before you go with a new one, Check the Mouse with some Other's Computer.

I use Logitech M305 never had a problem like that.Appears to me its broken-product.Go change it!

Mice are cheap, unless you bought something more expensive than most of us use. Good mice cost about as much as a lunch or dinner in a fast food joint.
I wish someone would make repalcement feet (pads) for mice. I have a mouse that is still good except the pads that make it slide are gone so it does not slide. My current mouse is getting like that too. If expensive mice have more durable feet (pads) then I should buy more a expensive mouse.

I think the problem is fixed. I opened up, beat it, moved it around, threw it. Working fine now. I didn't feel like spending $19.99 on a mouse.
