Cannot reterive date from textbox and send in to object?

cant put .Text after txtFdueon and txtvalid_up_to ?????

You do not show the delaration of txtFdueon and txtvalid_up_to. I assume that they are TextBoxes and I assume that you also are assuming that. This type of problem often exists when we make assumtions such as that without validating the assumption. So please look at what the delaration of txtFdueon and txtvalid_up_to are.

I think your parameter is date type an you pass string so it give error.
convert text to date using ctype.
