Hi,

If the developed application is given for deployment then no need to install visual studio. it should have supportive .net framework installed and for database, a new database should be created and imported all data from SQL DB file(.bak).

If application requires modification only in config file then no VS is required. Just edit the file using notepad and save. it will work in virtual directory.

But if project is given for further modification then Visual studio is required for development and compiling.

thanks....

Hi,

Process of Deploying Application in IIS6.0 is something like
        - First create virtual directory in IIS Default Web Site.
        - While create specify the physical path of project home page directory.
        - From virtual directory property, change Framework version of virtual directory according to application Framework version.
        - Browse the application using address like
        http://localhost/VirtualDirectoryName/Home.aspx
