Facebook Games and Internet Explorer

Question

I am troubleshooting why accessing games thru FB is so difficult. Could it be Cinti Bell Zomtown..or using Internet Explorer to access FB. I am using system 8..not 8.1 which I understand I should stay away from. Cinti Bell frequently runs very slow. I know they are switching to FibreOptics which is supposed to help. I never have a problem opening FB. My problem is with the games. Scrabble won't open at all. Candy Crush takes forever. Words With Friends is probably the quickest to open and usually does not freeze. Any ideas.
