Posted By jog rad villarojo on 08 May 2008
Help me please. How could I get the url from the address bar. Im using c# for this.

for example: if I type www.google.com in my address bar, then i would get "www.google.com" caption.

I have already done this to IExplorer, it was successful but i cannot get the url from Mozilla and Opera browsers. Kindly help me please. Many Thanks!

I haven't tried this myself, but you should be able to get the address bar URL through javascript - window.location.href

It should work for all the browsers.

err... can you give a snippet about this one. i am actually clueless you know. when we tried getting the url in IE's address bar, we used a dll file for it with IE API. but this method won't work on Mozilla and Opera... and I guess with other browsers having the same structure.

Help me anyone!!! My feasibility study will be due this Monday.
