windows:it is used to provide the security for intranet and inter net apl across the n/w......up to asp.net 3.5 it is default mode

form:it is used to provide security for intranet and internet appl based on the user reg within n/w....from asp.net 4.0 it is default authentication mode.....it provides some controls for security...
passport:it  is used to maintain the same user credentials across the n/w.....i think dat means no authentication is there...
