Position Summary :: This is a technical position responsible for gathering business requirements, estimating development and testing activities, designing, and implementing an automated solution using a custom scripting language. The Provisioning Services Developer will analyze existing solution, perform scripting, documentation, and testing activities as required.
The Provisioning Services Developer may be communicating with client and software vendors throughout the course of a Provisioning Services project.
Primary Accountabilities::
- Accountable for serviceability and supportability of the solution provided.
- Verify that new functionality does not adversely impact existing functionality.
- A thorough understanding of telecommunications and software development practices and principles.
Education
BE in IT, Computer Science or M.C.A.
Experience
- One to two years of IT experience.
- 1 year Microsoft .NET programming experience required with sound knowledge in OOPS concepts.
- Ability to understand and work with SQL statements; writing SQL, building tables, writing stored procedures preferred.
- Experience working with SQL Server databases and Web Services.
- Exposure to web application (either ASP.Net or MVC)
- Experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP, SSH, and Telnet.
