Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative, reusable web-based tools and templates based on an established code base and programming practices.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and then design and develop automation that increases productivity
- Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to teams.
- Work closely with eLearning development team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Work closely with eLearning development team to ensure consistency in development approach
- Attend project meetings to provide technical input and solutions
- Assist the eLearning development team with programming issues as problems arise
- Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
- Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years relevant experience.
Skills:
- Strong JavaScript, ActionScript, XML, XHTML, CSS and SCORM experience
- Web programming experience
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, such as Plateau, BlackBoard, Moodle, and others
- Experience with eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate and others
- Strong technical problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong work ethic, client relations skills, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional business environment.
- Moderate to Advanced MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with Flash and/or Flex desired.
- Experience managing and manipulating data using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server desired.
- Experience with HTML5 desired.
- Experience with iOS and Android application SDKs desired.
