As a Coley eLearning Programmer, you will work alongside fellow talented professionals and use the latest tools and technologies to design and develop innovative eLearning solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative, reusable web-based tools and templates based on an established code base and programming practices.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and then design and develop automation that increases productivity
  • Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to teams.
  • Work closely with eLearning development team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Work closely with eLearning development team to ensure consistency in development approach
  • Attend project meetings to provide technical input and solutions
  • Assist the eLearning development team with programming issues as problems arise
  • Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
  • Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
Required Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years relevant experience.
 
Skills:
  • Strong JavaScript, ActionScript, XML, XHTML, CSS and SCORM experience
  • Web programming experience
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems, such as Plateau, BlackBoard, Moodle, and others
  • Experience with eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate and others
  • Strong technical problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, client relations skills, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional business environment.
  • Moderate to Advanced MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Flash and/or Flex desired.
  • Experience managing and manipulating data using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server desired.
  • Experience with HTML5 desired.
  • Experience with iOS and Android application SDKs desired.
