Coley has an immediate opening for ISD’s in San Antonio, TX and in Frederick, MD.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates with client subject matter experts (SMEs) in contracted phases of the course development process (analyze, develop, design, implement, and evaluate) to include: clarify requirements, gather resources, validate instructional materials, etc.
  • Provides expert input to clients as required to assist in planning instructional requirements and strategies.
  • Work with Coley graphic designers and programmers as required.
  • Design learning that can be made 100% accessible as defined by Section 508 and W3C standards.
  • Designs and develops training materials and eLearning packages in accordance with project schedules
  • Designs instructional strategies in support of client training requirements
  • Develops or refines learning goals and objectives and assessment tools
  • Follows established eLearning development processes.
  • Produces instructional planning and execution documents, to include course curriculums, lesson plans, storyboards, and templates
  • Collaborates with internal and client team members to create curriculum design documents and plans
  • Ensure courses are complete, in compliance with standards and consistent with design plan.
  • Ensure compliance with SCORM and 508 standards via design planning, incremental testing, and quality control reviews
  • Develops and maintains standards documents related to instructional design, such as writing guides, instructional design standards, and development processes
  • Assists with the development, maintenance, and use of quality assurance processes
  • Provide input into project proposals and planning, to include level of effort estimates, project timelines, required resources, and team composition
  • Help generate ideas for innovative solutions to serve our client base.

Required Qualifications:
  • ISD I - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field with at least 2 years’ experience in instructional design.
  • ISD II - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field with at least 5 years’ experience in instructional design.
  • ISD III - Master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field with at least 8 years’ experience in instructional.
  • Applies best practices for instructional development, to include needs assessments, gap analysis, materials design and development, and course evaluation as necessary
  • Experience developing curriculum and content for face to face training, webinars and web-based training
