Sharp Coder Challenge #1 (WPF and XAML) 

Expose your expertise to over 1.5 million users worldwide, get famous, and get noticed by publishers and IT companies and win prizes over $10,000. 

The Challenge 

Create an interactive real-world ready-to-use Application using XAML and WPF or WPF/E. .NET 3.5 applications are also acceptable.

 

The Prize 

Worth over $10,000 cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Winners will be announced on the home page of C# Corner and other websites as well as in the newsletter.

 

  • First place prize (1): Sharp Coder Winner Trophy, $1000 cash, software, book
  • Second place (1): Sharp Coder Runner up Trophy, $500 cash, software, book
  • Third place (4): Nintendo Wii Game System, software, book
  • Forth place (5): IPod MP3 Players
  • Fifth place (5): 2GB and 1GB Pen Drives
  • Complementary prizes (10) – Software, Books 

Note: All accepted entries will receive complementary goodies from C# Corner. 

Due Dates 

All entries must be submitted before 31st December 2007. The winners will be announced on 31st January 2008. 

Submission Guidelines 

  • Your application must be written using XAML and/or WPF or Silverlight.
  • You must have a detailed document about the application and its functionality and how to use it. The document length must be over 1500 words.
  • Your application must be your original idea and code and idea should not be copied from anywhere else.
  • All entries must be submitted to webmaster AT c-sharpcorner DOT com.
  • Full source code must be submitted but open-source license is acceptable.

Judges
