  • Be sure you have the serial number, installation data and so on since the update process is not reversible.

Download and Upgrade

 
Go to Windows Insider Program and sign in with Microsoft Account.

If you do not have a Microsoft Account then you need to sign up for the Microsoft Insider Program, or simply sign in with your Microsoft Account and accept the term and conditions. Only after that will you be able to download it.

In the next step, Microsoft says to download the upgrade version of the software, This upgrade version is actually intended to upgrade your PC you're currently using. I recommend not to download the upgrade, move over to Looking for ISO files?, and click on the Get the ISO files, you will find the languages options and OS bit versions (32-bit or 64-bit).

ISO Installation

 
After downloading it's time to move closer to a Windows 10 Technical Preview test drive. Well, the next step is the installation process. Burn a disc or copy the files to a USB drive and insert it into the PC.
 
If you have any older version of Windows already in your PC, you can simply start the installation process by just clicking setup.exe from the desktop, thereby follow the instructions.
