This article explains the History and Version of the Android system.
 
Andy Rubin, Rich Miners, Nick Sears, and Chris White founded the Android incorporation in the United States in October 2003. Later Google acquired Android Corporation on August 17, 2005. Since then it is a subsidiary of Google Incorporated. The Android operating was developed by the four people named Andy Rubin, Rich Miners, Nick Sears, and Chris White. The Android platform was announced on 5 November 2007 with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). The Open Handset Alliance is a consortium of 84 companies. The OHA IS devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices and developed technologies to significantly lower the cost of developing and distributing mobile devices and services. Android is licensed under version 2 of the Apache Software License (ASL).
