Content and Structure in SharePoint 2013

Introduction

One of the good features in SharePoint 2013 is Content and Structure that will help you to manage your entire site content easily. To activate this feature you need to have a publishing site. Prerequisites

Ensure that the following features are enabled in your publishing site.

SharePoint Server Publishing

Create a Web page library as well as supporting libraries to create and publish pages based on Active page layouts.
  
SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure

Provides centralized libraries, content types, master pages and page layouts and enables Active page scheduling and other publishing functionality for a site collection.
 
Where to Enable

  • Go to Site Settings and select "Content and Structure".

Copy a Site

Let's copy a subsite “English (India)” under Publishing Site to Demo 5 Site.
  1. Right-click on the site and "Click Copy…".
