Create a Custom View in SharePoint 2013 List Using Standard View Type

The following is the procedure to create a Custom View in a SharePoint 2013 List using Standard View type.

Step 1

Here I have used an Employee details list as in Figure 1.

Step 2

Click List menu item in top navigation and click Create View as in Figure 2.

Step 3

The screen shown in Figure 3 will appear.

Step 4

Click Standard View for the view type then the screen shown in Figure 4 will appear. Enter the view name and change some properties (like make the default view) if you need to.

Step 5

Select the necessary column using the Display column checkbox as shown in Figure 5. Here I have selected Employee ID and Employee Name.

And click the OK button as in Figure 6.

Finally the new view will display as in Figure 7.
