Delete a Blank Page in a Word Document

In this article we will see how to delete a blank page in Microsoft Word. It is a simple process, but if you are not familiar with it, generally you will get tired of continually pressing the delete button. After trying many times, you will come to understand that the normal delete button won't work. To be frank, I also encountered this situation many times, I tried to delete by selecting the blank page and delete. It didn't work, then I got a solution that worked. So I thought of sharing the solution with you. I hope you will like it.

Please see this article in my blog.

Sample Word Doc

To test this, we need a Word document in which the second page is blank. You can see a Word document sample below.

Now we need to use the following procedure.

Step 1

Go to the VIEW tab from the menu and click on the Draft.

You can see that in the preceding image.

Step 2

After following Step 1, your Word document will look like the following:

Now you need to go to the paragraph menu from the Home tab.

Step 3

Click on the following icon from the paragraph menu.

Once you click on that icon, you will get some non-printing characters in your Word document. Click on the last in your Word document and press Delete.

Now return to your home tab and click on the show/hide menu and then go to the View tab and click the Print Layout option.

I hope your blank page is deleted now.
