Enable or Disable Theme in Windows 8

Introduction

 
This article describes how to enable or disable a Theme in Windows 8. If you click on the Enable Button, you can not change the Theme. If click on the Disable Button, you can change the Theme. Windows 8 provides you the Prevent Changing Theme option. In this option, you can Enable or Disable your Computer Theme in Windows 8. The theme gives a better look for your computer. You can disable the ability to change the theme, if you do not want anyone to change your Desktop Personalization.
 
The theme choice in Windows 8 is very simple. If you want that no one can change the theme in your system, you can disable the theme changing option in Windows 8. You can click on the Enable button to disable the changing of the theme. You can easily change the theme with the help of Personalized. Windows 8 supports all Desktop applications the spite of its Metro UI. You want to Enable or Disable the Theme service with the help of the gpedit.msc command.
 
You type the gpedit.msc command in the search box and click on the window that appears. You click on the User Configuration, sub-category Administrative Template sub-category Control Panel sub-category Personalization and right-click on the "Prevent Changing Theme" and select the edit tab. The Prevent Changing Theme Window will be opened and you can click on the Enable or Disable Button whichever you want and then click the Apply or Ok button.

You moved the cursor to the bottom-right and select the search box and type the search box which you want.

In the search box, you type the gpedit.msc under the application tab and click on the window that appears.

In this step, I want to Prevent Changing Theme file. You click on User Configuration sub-category Administrative Template sub-category Control Panel sub-category Personalization and click on the "Prevent Changing Theme".

In this step right-click on the "Prevent Changing Theme" and select the edit tab and click on the edit tab.

In this step, if you click on the Enabled Button then you can not change the Theme. You click on the Disable Button then you can change the Theme. You click on The Enable Button for Disabling the changing Theme or Prevent Changing Theme.

In this step right-click on your Desktop and select the Personalize tab. In this tab you are unable to change the theme after disabling the changing of the theme or Prevent Changing Theme.
