Remove Task Manager Option From Alt+Ctrl+Del Menu in Windows 8

Introduction

In this article, we are explaining how to remove the Task Manager Option from the Ctrl+Alt+Del menu for all users in Windows 8. The Ctrl+Alt+Del Hot Key combination allows you to lock your PC, switch the user, sign out of the current user and access the Task Manager. Basically the Task Manager is used when the computer is hung.

If you want to close an application and the application does not close by ALT+F4 then you can access the Task Manager with the help of the Ctrl+Alt+Del Hot Keys combination so that you can close the application by killing its process.

If you want to remove the Task Manager from the Ctrl+Alt+Del Menu then you click on the "Enabled" Button in the "Remove Task Manager" window. Then the user cannot access the Task Manager from the Ctrl+Alt+Del Menu. By default, the user can access it. If you click the "Not Configured" or "Disabled" Button then the user can access it from the Ctrl+Alt+Del Menu.
