Turning On Maintenance Messages in Windows 8

Introduction

 
Windows 8 provides Maintenance Messages and some new features for Automatic Maintenance. In this article we are explaining how to turn on Maintenance Messages in Windows 8. Maintenance Messages provide messages for things such as Windows Backup, Automatic Maintenance, Drive Status, Windows Troubleshooting, HomeGroup, File History, Storage Spaces and others. In the Maintenance Messages, you can enable or disable all the Maintenance Messages listed and you can enable the ones you have disabled and then click OK. When an Automatic Maintenance task is run, it will take the task such as security, updating and scanning.
 
Automatic Maintenance will provide notifications of the background activity. To turn off the Maintenance Messages, you uncheck (turn off) the option to check Messages. Windows will check the problem and send Messages if any issues are found for selected ones. Windows Maintenance provides you the ability to turn off the Maintenance Messages in Windows 8.
 

Steps To Turn On the Maintenance Messages in Windows 8

 
Step 1
 
You move the cursor to the bottom-right and click on the search box for searching any application and click on the search box and type any name you want to search.

In this you can type "Control Panel" in the Search box and click on it to open the Control Panel. The Control Panel shows the various computer settings.

In this you can open the Windows 8 Metro UI and select the Control Panel and click on it to open it.

After opening the Control Panel, you will see the many Computer's Settings such as System and Security, Network and Internet, Programs and others. Click on the System and Security.

After opening the System and Security, you can open the Action Center under the System and Security. Then click on the Action Center.

After opening the Action Center, you click on the 'Change Action Center Settings'. In the Action Settings you will see Maintenance Messages.
