In this article, I am going to explain how to change system sounds in Windows 8. There are many applications, features, and functions in Windows 8 that generate events. For different-2 types of events, it has different-2 types of sound just like when we start Windows and shutdown windows when it show an error, when we log on and log off, when we delete any file and when battery became low.
 
For every specific type of event, there is specific type of tone or sound. Windows 8 provide a functionality by which you can change system sound of any events. You can do it through the control panel. It also provides a faculty that you can set a specific type of tone for any specific type of event.
 

Steps for how to change system sounds in Windows 8

 
Step 1
 
In the Windows 8 OS, you can move the cursor on the right bottom and click on the search box. In the search box, you can specify what you want.

In the search box, you can type the name Control Panel and click on the Control Panel.

After opening the Control Panel, you will see many programs such as System and Security, Network and Internet, Hardware and Sound, programs and others. Click on "Hardware and sound".

Now you will see many programs in the new window screen "Hardware and Sound" and click on the "Change System Sounds" option to open it.
