Delhi Chapter Meet June 19, 2016: Official Recap

The C# Corner Delhi Chapter recently hosted an event on June 19, 2016: “Learn IoT, AngularJS, Web API, JavaScript and Node.js” at C# Corner, Noida. We want to share with you some of the event highlights.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the tremendous speakers and attendees who came to offer their support.

The huge energetic crowd that converged at the venue beginning at 9:00 AM included developers and entrepreneurs. The event focused on IoT, AngularJS, Web API, JavaScript and Node.js.

Here is the list of topics and speakers. All of the speakers delivered even more than what they promised.

The event was kicked off with the first session by Sumit Jolly on “Hands-On with JavaScript”. Sumit Jolly has more than 11 years of work experience. He has worked primarily on the Microsoft platform and related technologies. He started with an Introduction to JavaScript and went further to give practical implementation, which created an interesting environment in the first session itself.

Then, a session on “Microsoft Platform for IoT” was conducted by Vishal Kaushik. He is a Software Architect by profession, who believes software is the best means of his self-expression, and his contribution to mankind. He seeks opportunities to build innovative software solutions to benefit its direct and indirect consumers. Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology and learning about a Microsoft Platform for IoT was stirring for the attendees.

After that, Nitin Pandit focused on “Creating an AngularJS App”. He is a Microsoft Professional with over 5 years of experience and his skill set includes C# .NET, ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to EF, ASP.NET 2.0/3x/4.0, WCF, MVC 5.0 (Razor), jQuery, AngularJS, etc. He is an expert speaker, since he has trained more than one lakh student and professional. For the event, Nitin trained more than 100 attendees to create an AngularJS app in 60 minutes and the attendees loved seeing their app implemented successfully.

Then, attendees enjoyed a lunch break of 30 minutes.

Then, Sachin Kalia continued the event with “Web API Versioning and CRUD Operation.” His experience includes working on .NET technologies. He works as a software engineer in 3 Pillar Global (Earlier, Brickred Technologies). He created quite an interesting environment after the lunch break and explained ASP.NET Web API perfectly. Further, he also demonstrated how to implement ASP.NET Web API versioning.

At last, Sunny Singh focused on “Building a Website with Node.js and Express.js.” Sunny is a lead developer at C# Corner and his professional interests include ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, NodeJS, Cloud and IoT. He is also a C# Corner MVP. Firstly, he explained what Node.js and Express.js are, and then he went further to build a website using both the technologies. Even the last session grabbed a lot of attention, since the attendees learned how to develop a website from scratch.
