What is Azure Search

Azure Search is a cloud search-as-a-service solution that delegates server and infrastructure management to Microsoft, leaving you with a ready-to-use service that you can populate with your data and then use to add search to your web or mobile application.

Now let's get started with the following steps:

Create a Search Service

Step 1: Sign in to the online Microsoft Azure Portal.

Step 2: In the Jumpbar, click New, then click Data + Storage, and then Azure Search.

 
 
Step 3:

In the
Search Service account blade, specify the desired configuration for the Search Service account (Type your service name in the 'URL' field & Resource Group). Click Create button at the bottom of the screen to create the Search Service.
 
  
 
After you click Create, you'll get your new Azure Search being configured on the dashboard. After provisioning an Azure Search service, you will be ready to define an Azure Search index so you can upload and search your data.
