How To Create A DNS Zone In Azure

Prerequisites

Now let's get started with the following steps:

Create a DNS zone

Step 1: Sign in to the online Microsoft Azure Portal.

Step 2: In the Jumpbar, click New, then click Networking, and then DNS zone.

 
 
Step 3:

In the
DNS zone account blade, specify the desired configuration for the DNS zone account (Name: For example, contoso.com & Resource Group). Click Create button at the bottom of the screen to create the DNS zone.
 
  
 
After you click Create, you'll get your new zone being configured on the dashboard.

View DNS zone records

In the DNS zone blade, click on All settings to open the Settings blade for the DNS zone then the lower part of the Essentials pane, you can see the record sets for the DNS zone.
