Are you constantly entering your TFS Login Credentials when opening a project from Visual Studio 2010. If so, here are the steps to persist those credentials.
- Open Windows 7 Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Credential Manager.
- Add a new Windows Credentials in the Stored Accounts for Automatic Login.
- Enter the TFS server name.
- Enter the User Name (Domain\UserName).
- Enter the Password.
Now when the project is opened in Visual Studio 2010 you will be automatically logged in to source control.
