In 2016, Microsoft introduced new capabilities in SharePoint Online team sites including integration with Office 365 groups. the users can experience modern UI with the lists, libraries, web parts and while editing the page in the team sites. Please read this article for more information.
Link Webpart
Navigate to Office 365 SharePoint team site - https://c986.sharepoint.com/sites/VijaiAnand/.
Click Settings icon and click Add a page.
Enter the page name and click + icon. Click Link.
Paste a link to a page, video or an image on the internet.
Click Publish.
Result
Link Webpart is added to the page and published, as shown below.
