Is there any eBook of Windows 8 or Windows phone 8 programming? I am facing lot of problem due to the fact that windows 8 uses Async-await programming model in client-server calling. Which definitely makes certain things easier but I need to learn it very deeply to handle file upload to server from my apps. When ever my apps go to deactivate state upload fails, but it should run in the background. is there any better way?
