Future for desktop application developer?

It's been 7 month's i'm developing desktop application in C#. This is my first job. I'm kinda confused like is there any future for this or should I turn to web based application. As I haven't enough knowledge about web based apps, should i learn that ? I'm worried, Need guidance?
