Future in .NET platform

Question

I am placed in a MNC and a very good company @ 5LPA , I am currently pursuing ME CSE final semester , I have been allocated .NET technology and my online training has started on .NET itself . People are saying that future is not good in .NET in terms of future salary package and very few companies are there that pay good package to .NET professionals as compared to professionals of hadoop , salesforce , database, SAP etc. Should i start looking for the jobs @ different platform even if package is quite low.
