Need a Career Guidance for software developer

Question

I have simple question but don't know exact answer.

I have 1 year & 3 months experience as a software developer(.NET).

I want to work in IT industry.But completing tasks and gaining experience can boost my career ? or are there any ways to boost career?(like any courses that improve my value or I will become unique)
