Problems with and window style fonts

Question

When I deploy my software with the default windows XP theme the windows componets have no problem. But when screen and theme has a custom font size, and style some controls are overlaping with each other. Mostly because some of the windows don't have the the appropiate anchor or docking.
Is there any way to always keep the original font?
