sir my intension is i want to 1.excute basic sql commnds

2.i want create ,update table by using java program using jdbc odbc driver

plese give clarity about what can i download?how to instal ?and i downloaded mysql .it asks .net framework 4.0.but i dont need this.what can i do?

plese tell me sir?
