How to trigger dynamic link buttons in modalpopupExtender

Hi,

 

I have created a dynamic link button in modalpopupextender. But when i click on the link button file in modalpopupExtender it is not getting downloaded.

It is throwing an error "Unable to evaluate expression because the code is optimized or a native frame is on top of the call stack.".Can any one please help me out
