The Verge reports
they have discovered FCC documents showing what looks to be a marginally smaller view
of the Apple TV set-top box that measures about 93.78 mm square; down from
the current model's 98 mm. AnandTech
discovered the A5X was a
revision of the A5 that retained its dual-core. Apple calls it the
current-generation device of the Apple TV, which makes it clear that the future
update is likely just incremental.
Apple has yet to
officially announce an updated Apple TV, but it could at any time, as for the
128GB iPad.
