In the “hello again” event on October 27, 2016, Apple has finally launched the updated version of its most promising laptops MacBook Pro. These new MacBook Pro devices are equipped with the most innovative and amazing features which undoubtedly are worth the wait.

Since its launch in 2012, this is the biggest update to the MacBook Pro devices with a bunch of mind-blowing new features which include - the thinnest and the lightest ever design, replacement of traditional functional keys with a Retina-quality virtual button display called Touch Bar, and the power of Touch ID for hard yet convenient security.

Apple has made the MacBook Pro devices, the most powerful machine ever, that’s light-weight, heavy duty, and functionally rich. The new MacBook Pro has sixth generation, quad-core and dual core processors so as to double up the performance of the devices from the previous generation.

The new Pro devices are thinner, lighter, brighter, and more colorful compared to their predecessor versions, equipped with a new quieter and better cooling system, and with doubled up Force Touch track pad.

The amazing Thunderbolt 3 ports are introduced to MacBook Pro laptops. Now, a single kind of port can perform multiple functions, from charging the device as a power port, to connect to the USB devices, to work as HDMI or VGA connectivity, along with working as a traditional thunderbolt port.

Apple has done the magic again with the introduction of the magical Touch Bar, an OLED strip containing virtual buttons that change according to the app opened on the machine, in order to provide the best experience to the users while working on an app, any app.

Notably, the third party application vendors, including Microsoft and Adobe, are working on bringing the Touch Bar virtual buttons to their MacBook Pro apps. The Adobe team has already demonstrated the Touch Bar compatible Photoshop app, while Apple has hinted that Microsoft Office app for MacBook Pro will soon be Touch Bar friendly.

As an added layer of security, the new Touch ID has been applied to the MacBook Pro devices. All you have to do is to scan your finger to the Touch ID, the system will automatically log you in after recognizing your finger print, and you are the master of the device. Even when multiple users are working on a single system, they can get their own personalized desktop in just a tap of finger, through this new Touch ID functionality.
 
Let’s now talk about the prices. Well, 13-inch version of the new MacBook Pro with standard function key is for $1,499, the Touch Bar enabled variant is available for $1,799. An additional $900, however, can get you the 15-inch variants of the device. Apple promises to start shipping the devices within 2-3 weeks, while the entry-level starts shipping today.
