Extension slurps Facebook contacts into Google+

For making Google+ a vivified competitor to Facebook the major deal is that people must reproduce their social graph, their collection of connections, at the new service. But the process made easier by a Chrome extension by automating the affiliation of contact information that your Facebook contacts have shared.

Mohamed Mansor, the open-source programmer named the extension as Facebook Friend Exporter nearly a simple one-click process.

The Chrome extension lets you search the Facebook contact information, but there is lot of work to sort it properly in Google+. If you have friend in hundreds on Facebook, it's like a pain. The extension doesn't solve the biggest problem with Google+. But that's going to be a problem with any new Facebook challenger. Mansour's extension has helped many clear the basic address-book hurdle with more than 15,000 downloads.
