Currently, numerous job postings have been listed by Facebook’s Building 8 group that has described a project involving "neuroimaging" and "electrophysiological data" so as to create a "communications platform of the future.”

The open position for a brain-computer interface engineer is looking for a Ph.D in neuroscience, computer science, electrical engineering, or related quantitative technical field. Another listing seeks an engineer, who will be able to develop audio processing algorithms.

Facebook has not provided any details or elaboration on the job listings, but it seems that the company is really working on some kind of telepathic communication device.
