Google Rolling out Chrome OS 64

Google has released a stable channel update for Chrome OS. The new version, i.e., Chrome OS 64.0.3282.134 (Platform version: 10176.65.0) has been rolling out for most of the Chrome OS devices in the coming days.
 
According to the company announcement, they have made several bugfixes and improved the security issues in this version. Some of the key features include -
  • Take screenshots faster on Chromebooks with a 360-degree hinge by pressing the power and volume down buttons at the same time
  • Revamped Intent Picker for Play Applications (Same window by default with override)
  • Lockscreen Performance Improvements
  • Enable VPN for Google Play Apps
  • Enhancements to our protected media pipeline for Android
  • Android Container Auto Update Optimizations
  • Touchscreen pairing settings
However, Google has been working smartly here and they have not unveiled the details and links of many bugs until a majority of devices has been updated with the new release. Also, the company informs that they are working on some security-related issues which will be resolved shortly.
