1. What is your name?

Brij Bhushan Mishra

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I belong to a small town from UP and currently working with MNC as Sr Developer/Architect. I am Microsoft MVP in ASP.NET/IIS for the past 3 years. I am passionate about learning new technologies and sharing knowledge amongst various online and offline platforms. I share my learning on my blog and one can follow me @brij_bhushan on Twitter.

3. How long have you been associated with C# Corner?

I am getting many resources and help after I joined the Software Industry about 6 years back. I began contributing to the website and C# Corner chapters beginning 8 months ago.

4 What makes you to be a part of C# Corner?

C# Corner is one of the best online communities. One thing that I like most is that even if one is a novice in community participation and his English is not well. One can start writing articles and answering questions in C# Corner. C# Corner editors help the author by making changes and motivating them. Many online communities just reject them if one does not write up to their standards. Apart from that, C# Corner started offline community events that allow us to meet the community in person, learn and network with others.

5. How has C# Corner helped you personally?

First, as my day to day problems get resolved by the C# Corner community it saves me a substantial amount of time so I get more time for my family. I have also made very good friends here and learning a lot from them.

6. How has C# Corner helped you professionally?

I have learned a lot from C# Corner. C# Corner has helped me innumerable times for solving my day to day technical problems and learning new things. I also participate in C# Corner Chapter events, there I meet speakers and audience in person and learn from them.

7. How would you explain C# Corner to a young student?

I would say to a young student that C# corner is full of resources on various technologies in a simple and easy manner. They can ask questions, read articles, watch videos and can do many more things. Apart from that, they can even share their learning and ideas with the C# Corner website. C# Corner editors help them with any grammatical, formatting or typo errors.

8. Can you tell us little bit about your family background?

I belong to a middle class family from UP. My father is a Government servant and my mother is a housewife. Since I am the eldest one among my siblings I have more responsibility towards my family.

9. Can you tell us about your education?

My schooling has been done from Barabanki. I have done my graduation from Lucknow University. After that I completed MCA from NIT Durgapur.

10. What do you do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with family and listening to soft music. I also love travelling to various places. Apart from this, I like answering questions on various online forums and blogging.

11. What makes you choose C# Corner as your community?

C# Corner is a perfect platform to learn, share knowledge and connect to other professionals via online and offline chapter events. There are many very senior professionals associated with it and share their knowledge and professional experiences regularly. The C# Corner team is very supportive and provide feedback from time to time. I am learning each day with C# Corner.

12. If you need to make one change to C# Corner, what would that be?

C# Corner has revamped the entire website and it looks very intuitive and pretty fast. Many new sections are being added, like pulse, which makes C# Corner live. We can have a section for people to do some fun activities. Also I posted Interview Questions but that is not listed in the My Account section.
