By Amalendu Dey Aug 13, 2013
This week's C# Corner MVP featured is Supreet Tare.

1. What is your name?

Supreet Tare

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a developer by heart, a managing director of a company by profession. I love learning new Microsoft Technologies & will never miss a chance to give any new MS technology a try. Be it Silverlight, WPF, WCF, Windows Phone, Win Store or Lightswitch. I have tried my hands on all these technologies & C# is my primary language while working on these techs.

I have worked with companies like Infosys technologies Ltd in the past & have been trying to manage a small IT business of my own since 2009.

3. How long have you been associated with C# Corner?

About 3 months now.

4 What causes you to be a part of C# Corner?

The community, there are just so many good, knowledgeable people associated with it that there is just no chance, you cannot be a part of it.

5. How has C# Corner helped you personally?

A lot, I regularly go through the articles. Since I love working on MS techs,  C# Corner has become a default tab in my browser. I make it a point to read at least one article published on it everyday.

6. How has C# Corner helped you professionally?

I have learned new skills. Most importantly I have become a more regular blogger because of this community. Since I started blogging in C# corner the number of readers has grown exceptionally. This gives me a boost to go ahead & write & share even better articles.

7. How would you explain C# Corner to a young student?

I would say that if they are serious about learning, then C# corner is the all-stop-shop they can rely upon.

8. Can you tell us little bit about your family background?

I come from a family of government servants. My grandfather was employed by the Indian Railway. They shifted to Jabalpur, MP a long time back. My father used to work in the Electricity Department & My mum is a senior lecturer in Chemistry at one of the Government Boys Higher Secondary school. My wife is also a professor in mathematics. I was the odd one out & left my corporate job only after 3 years & started our own IT company.

9. Can you tell us about your education?

I have completed my bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications stream from Ghasidas University, Bilaspur CG in 2006.

10. What do you do for fun?

I love music, drawing, gardening & watching movies. I love spending my free time with my family :)

11. What makes you choose C# Corner as your community?

As I said, the network of such knowledgeable people that C# corner offers is unmatched. There is just no point being left out of such an amazing company.

12. If you need to make one change to C# Corner, what would that be?

Frankly speaking, I would want that the articles that we submit should not be curated & the signature of the author should be persisted. Every author has his/her own style of writing, explaining tech stuff. I understand that the editors make it more readable but at the same time they also make it very plain & boring at times. My request is, if possible that the signature of the author should be persisted & only grammatical/ technical mistakes should be fixed by the editors.
