Latest Leaked Image And Rumors Of iPhone 7

The latest iPhone 7 is just eight weeks from being launched, however it seems that we now have quite a clear idea about what to expect from this device. The design of the latest iPhone is quite similar to iPhone 6s, it will come with a revamped camera, upgraded internals along with the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack. The latest leaked photograph of the new iPhone 7, via NowhereElse.FR, gives us a clearer image of how the back of the device will look.

The leaked image has gone on to clearly show a 4.7-inch iPhone 7 back casing. The most obvious change which you will be able to see is the antenna lines which have been redesigned. Rather than extending it lengthwise across the body like the latest iPhone 6s, the iPhone 7 antenna lines are comparatively sleeker and smaller. As per the leaked picture, the white antenna lines are merely noticeable at the top and bottom edges of the device.

The leaked image has also highlighted the camera changes which Apple is expected to disclose. This new iPhone 7 includes a significantly larger camera hole, which is expected to be about 25 percent wider in diameter in comparison to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. This means that there will be an upgrade in the camera quality of the upcoming Apple device; however we do notyet know the exact details.

The megapixel count of the camera might remain the same; however, Apple might allow the sensor to take in much more light so as to achieve better end pictures. As per the rumors, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus might feature a dual camera, which would allow taking better photographs. One of the rumors also hints that the iPhone 7 Plus dual-cameras are a set of twin 12-megapixel sensors.

Beside the latest leaked image, there have been numerous other rumors which reveal the new features and changes in the upcoming iPhone. Among all the rumors, the most controversial is the removal of the headphone jack; it seems that Apple will most probably rely on the Bluetooth wireless headphones or the Lightning cable headphones for audio output. Instead of the 3.5mm jack, it seems that the users will be provided with an additional speaker grill which will supposedly be present at the bottom of the device.

There are also rumors of a new Home Button. It is being expected that Apple will go on to drop its infamous physical click button in favor of a capacitive touch-sensitive area.

iPhone 7 also comes with the rumor of being water and dust proof. It seems that by removing the opening of the headphone jack and Home Button, it is quite easy for the company to completely seal the device. With its competitors offering waterproof products for quite some time now, it seems quite sensible for Apple to join in, without compromising on the simplicity and visual beauty of the iPhone design.

For the 5.5 inch iPhone 7, rumors are also going on about a new Smart Connector at the back of the device. Several reports of the leaked images of the iPhone 7 Plus cases have shown holes which allow the 3-pin connector to be exposed. However, it is quite unclear as to what function the Smart Connector would provide, maybe it is related to some kind of ‘wireless’ charging.

As always, the new iPhone will come with featured internal upgrades, such as a new processor and graphic chips. There are also indications that from this year Apple will go on to drop its 16GB storage from the lineup, and the new models will start from 32GB. However, three SKUs would be available with 32/128/256 GB storage configurations.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are all set to make their debut at a media event in September, following Apple’s usual launch cycle. This will however, be confirmed by the company’s press invitation, which will most probably be sent out sometime in late August.
