Leaked photo shows Logitech iOS 7 gamepad

Kotaku have published a photo of the first “Made for iPhone” game controller. This controller is supposedly produced by Logitech and looks to follow the design guidance images that Apple released alongside iOS 7.

According to CNet, the slightly blurry image shows a D-pad on the left and a cluster of four buttons on the right, along with what could be a start or menu button just below. This controller also looks to connect to the iPhone via a Lightning connector.

At WWDC last week Apple briefly mentioned a new API for turning devices into a game controller and an official MFi designation for some yet-to-be-named hardware makers.

No date has been set for release of the device, nor is there any assurance that this is Logitech's final design for the controller.
