LG Unveils The New UX 5.0 to G5

LG G5 comes with the all-new UX 5.0 mobile user interface, which will als be featured on other LG smartphones, which is to be released in this upcoming year, the company announced.

The South Korean tech giant has unveiled the feature of this new UX on its official YouTube channel in both Korean and English.

The UX 5.0 comes with a feature known as LG Friends Manager, an app which syncs and controls accessories which can be attached to G5. The app instantly recognizes nearby Friends, and allows the users to choose which one it wishes to connect with the G5. It will automatically install that particular app, which is required to operate the different modules.

One such app is the Friends Camera Album for the 360 Cam and Rolling Bot, a 360-degree camera along with remote controllable minibot, which collects photos taken by the modules.

The function of the camera has improved with the new UX, which LG is quite keen to add with every update.

The Auto Selfie takes photos by face recognition, after a few seconds, without the need to click buttons. This is an upgrade of Gesture Shot, which had been previously added in the UX, that allows users to take photos by making a fist in front of the phone.

The Multi-View allows users to take three photos at once, using both the dual-lens and front cameras, and upload them on the screen at the same time. With the LG 360 Cam module, they can also load the 360-degree photo at the same time. The 360 Wallpapers allows users to put in backgrounds on panorama photos.

Pop-out Pictures allows two photos to be taken with the rear camera, to be overlapped on one screen. For instance, one photo can be taken in black and white atop a larger, colored photo to simulate that of the picture frame. The zoom In and Out allows users to switch between the regular angel or wide angle by swinging the screen, whenever you are taking a photo with the dual-lens rear camera. The Film Effect allows users to configure the photos in order to make it look as if it was taken with an old-school film camera.

Alongside this, the New Home allows users to install as well as delete the apps on one screen, while the Smart Doctor app power maintenance program automatically suggests apps to delete and also offers advice on better battery management.

The LG Health, a fitness tracking app, comes in two modes- Beginner and Advanced. Initially Users start as a Beginner and once they have accomplished the set goals, it will automatically upgrade to Advanced for more difficult goals.

The File Management simulates a PC UX for document management for all those users who prefer the conventional method on their desktop. The LG Backup, a pre-existing backup program which allows users to transfer data to other smartphones, can easily be done thought NFC tendering. It can be used with non-LG phones.

The G5 has been warmly received in the market since it has been unveiled last month, and according to Korean analysts experts, it is expect to be the best selling smartphone of the firm yet.
