Seems like we are going to see really great innovations from Microsoft, in the coming months. The Surface Book i7 is the most powerful successor of Microsoft’s popular Surface Book laptop series that was announced one year ago, and made its way to people’s hearts. This is why Microsoft, through its Twitter handle, called it the ultimate laptop.

“Introducing the new Surface Book i7, the ultimate laptop. Now more powerful than ever. #MicrosoftEvent”

Well, it definitely has the most amazing configuration that will blow your mind. With an Intel i7 processor, it is the iteration of 13.5 inch Surface Book.

The extra balls and whistles of the product include - a better cooling system with additional fan to help processors remaining cool while performing high, a fully reversible and detachable screen that can work as a tablet also, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 for pushing 1.9 teraflops of graphics performance.

Obviously, Microsoft considered the needs of all the people from various professions while building this masterpiece, like gamers who need “more FPS” or programmers who want “no lag”. One need is common, however, i.e. more battery life. Well, the new laptop offers upto 16 hours of battery life, once fully charged.

The device is available for pre-orders from today onward. However, the company will start shipping the orders from the second week of November, hopefully November 10. The starting price of Surface Book i7 is $2,399 for lower model (256 GB/ 8GB), while the middle model (512GB/8GB) is for $ 2,799, and the upper model (1TB/16 GB) will cost $3,299.
