Night Mode Now Available on Twitter For iOS App

Twitter has started rolling out its most awaited night – mode feature on iOS app. This feature had first been introduced in July for Android. The night mode re-skins the mobile app in darker hues, making it easier to scan the feed and read the tweets, even in the presence of the minimal light. In order to toggle the night mode on and off, all you will need to do is go to the setting panel of Twitter, after receiving and downloading the latest update. The second step is to tap on “Display and sound”, where it is now present under the text size and other accessibility options.

The work for this particular feature has been going on for quite some time and it was just last year, when Twitter hired well-known Joaquim Vergès, who made the popular Falcon Pro client for Android. One of the most loved features of Falcon Pro is the night mode setting and Vergès was a part of the team, who went on to help to develop the dark mode feature for Twitter’s official Android app. Now, after testing this feature for a few months, Android has bought it to iPhone too.
