Samsung unveils GALAXY Grand smartphone

Samsung has unveiled specs on an upcoming smartphone called the GALAXY Grand.
In a post on the Samsung Tomorrow blog, the South Korean company has unveiled the GALAXY Grand smartphone, featuring 5-inch display, Android Jelly Bean, and a both dual-SIM and single-SIM version. 

Samsung's release presents the GALAXY Grand as an intuitive, high-performance multitasking smartphone. Users are able to run several apps in a a Multi Window mode without having to switch screens, while several features such as Direct Call, Smart Alert, Popup Video, and S Voice all provide shortcuts to essential tasks. The device will include a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor along with an 8-megapixel camera in the rear and a two-megapixel camera up front. 

According to the release, Samsung will market the dual-SIM version of the phone first, followed by the single-SIM version, however availability and pricing information for GALAXY Grand has not yet been confirmed. For the dual-SIM version, users will have the flexibility to select different billing plans between SIMs and accept calls from either at any time.
