SQL Reporting is Available on Windows Azure

Microsoft BI Team today announced the availability of Windows Azure SQL Reporting that allows developers to build SQL Server Reporting Solutions on Azure.

As a developer, that totally makes sense for me. I am already familiar with SSRS and now in Azure platform, developers will find Business Intelligence Development Studio and SQL Server Data Tools familiar that can be used to build reports.

The supported formats for reports are PDF, Excel, Word, HTML, XML, and CSV.

SQL Reporting on Azure offers a fully backed SLA and enables you to publish reports to the cloud or embed reports directly within on-premises applications that can be accessed via your browser, mobile devices or desktops.
