About RSS

RSS stand for (Real Simple Syndication) which is used for collection of Web feed formats that provide updated or shared information in a standardized way and all the information could be website or blog entries, news headlines, or audio or video files. RSS is an XML based format and while it can be used in different ways for content distribution and its most widespread usage is in distributing news headlines on the Web. The main using of RSS in Web site that wants to allow other sites to publish some of its content creates an RSS document and registers the document with an RSS publisher with the benefits of publishers and subscribers because they syndicate work automatically in a format that can be easily accessed and viewed by different applications.
