Sliverlight Tutorials by Karthi On March 16, 2009
Hi, The tutorials are simple, except that the presenter's face (in this case its you Mahesh) is obscuring and distracting the viewers from looking the code and "feeeling" right inside. If in future just present us with your audie and tutorials rather than the presenter's face embedded on the video it would make itreally great.

Good feedback Karthi.

I am still messing with video recording software and wasn't sure it was a good idea to have the face or not. In future videos, you will not see it :)

Re: Silver light Templates by Mahesh On May 2, 2009
You do not need to install Silverlight third party templates. However, you must have Silverlight from Microsoft.

WPF Browser applications are designed to work with Windows and IE. If you need to build platform independent Web applications, Silverlight is the way.

How silverlight Application is different from Normal Web Application by srinivas On May 4, 2010
Mahesh,

I like to know How silverlight Application is different from Normal Web Application, the stuff which you shown in the video can be done in web application too, so it will be good if you explain more about the differences between silverlight and web applications and where silverlight can be used over web applications.

Silverlight provides many new features and controls similar to Adobe Flash. If you need to build interactive operating system independent applications (Windows or Mac), you choose Silverlight.

Search this website for keyword "chat". No! Silveright is not a Windows application. It is a Web application. For Windows, you can either use WPF or Windows Forms.
