IIS Pool getting stooped when executing certain code

Question

I have a mvc web site, also we have one DLL provided by third party.
We used this DLL by calling functions which are provided with in that.

At the time of calling one function, we are getting an exception and the iis pool is getting stopped.

We dont have acces to modify and handle the exception with in the DLL.

Simply we need to ignore the exception and continue with in the MVC application. 

We need to skip the error and execute the following code as as usaully we write code in try catch blocks.
Kindly provide the solution.
